1. Agreement to Terms

By using TrueDNS ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

TrueDNS provides professional managed DNS infrastructure including:

  • Authoritative DNS hosting and zone management
  • Automated DNSSEC key management and signing
  • Advanced record management (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, CAA)

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Strict Policy: One person or legal entity may maintain only one free account. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

4. Acceptable Use Policy (Hardened Security)

To protect the integrity of our network, you agree NOT to use TrueDNS for:

  • Illegal activities or facilitation of crimes
  • Distribution of malware, ransomware, or phishing sites
  • Hosting Command & Control (C2) infrastructure
  • DNS amplification attacks or protocol abuse

Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any domain or account found violation of these terms immediately and without prior notice.

5. Billing and Refunds

5.1 Payment & Limits

  • All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store payment credentials.
  • Plan limits (zones, records) are enforced automatically by the platform.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

5.2 "No Bill Shock" Guarantee

Our Professional and Enterprise plans include unlimited queries. You will never receive an overage charge for legitimate DNS traffic.

5.3 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee for all new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 30 days for a full refund.

6. Service Availability (SLA)

Availability commitments are defined in our Service Level Agreement. We provide service credits for any uptime failure below our 99.9% (Free) or 99.99% (Paid) targets.

7. Data Ownership & Sovereignty

  • You Own Your Data: You retain full ownership of all DNS zones, records, and configurations you create.
  • No Claim: TrueDNS does not claim ownership of your domain names.
  • License: You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license solely to host and resolve these records as requested by your configuration.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • TrueDNS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • We accept no liability for third-party registrar failures or global DNS propagation delays outside our control.

9. Termination

Upon cancellation of your account:

  • DNS resolution services will cease at the end of your current billing period.
  • You are responsible for migrating your domains to a new provider before this date.
  • All account data and configurations will be permanently deleted after 90 days.
